I am NOT a junk book reader. Since graduating from college a million years ago I read classic literature and am in two "high brow" reading groups. Mr. Faulkner's novel is so beautifully written and compellingly told that I re-read it after finishing the book! Have read books like "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "war and Peace", "Lolita", etc. several times over the decades since their publication - but never reading a book twice in a row.
Well done Mr. Faulkner and thank you for this fabulous book.

After a few pages I was enthralled. Could hardly wait to reach the exciting ending. A fast paced and well-informed thriller, it drew me in completely. The complexity of the plot and the numerous characters made it a little hard to follow at times, but it always drew me back in. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys political intrigue and hard-hitting action.
"Starlights" is one of those books you just can't put down. I felt that all the events were plausible as scary as they may seem. The story line is fast paced and the way the author connects the characters' lives keeps you wanting to read just one more page. If you enjoy foreign intrigue and exciting plot twits, this is the book for you. I believe "Starlights" would make a great action-packed movie someday!
If you like fast paced intrigue, cold war suspense, some sci-fi that you can't put down, this is your book. T. C.
Starlights is a book that is hard to put down. It never lets up. I recommend it, for sure. The twin boys being separated at birth reminds me of Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer and the Russian threat and intrigue is like Tom Clancy's books.
"Starlights" is one of the most fascinating books I have ever read! Tom did a tremendous amount of research to
write this. The characters are portrayed in such a manner as to resemble actual people. Plot development leads you on until
the final pages. It would make an outstanding action packed movie.
